Here's a page to find out more about me, |
the creator of this insanity! |
Hey, that sorta rhymed. I'm a poet now! |
My beautiful guinea pigs, the late Vivi Moo-Pig and Link. Vivi is the one in black and white, hence the name "Moo-Pig", and Link's the little brown one. And yes, those dark brown things next to Link's foot are poop. |

So you have come to find out more about the mind behind the madness? You are brave, indeed! I guess I can make things simple now. For starters, I'm a 25 year old from New York City who just got her MA degree in medieval history. Creative writing has always been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. It wasn't long after Super Mario World came out in 1991 that I started writing stories about the Koopalings. At first, my writing was serious... but considering that I was only ten years old at the time, my dramatic style really sucked, so I switched over to parody writing. Mostly I focus on video games, and I've made fun of everything from Koopas to Final Fantasy to Resident Evil to the Legend of Zelda. Now, over ten years later, I've dabbled with dramatic writing once again, the product of that mess being The Diary Entries of Kamek Tirro. Soon I'll be adding more to my site, so be patient, little one. While on the web, I've always been pretty quiet, even on message boards and stuff. Yes, I've sleazed around sites like Lemmy's Land for years and never decided to contribute anything. Recently I opted to take a different route. Oh, I'm so rebelious! Instead of submitting my stories to other people's sites, I decided to make one of my own, even though I'm horrible with computers. (Which is probably evident already with the crappy layout of this site.) Enough of my obsessions about Koopas and Hyrulian elves though! |

Another love of mine is animals. I'm basically a huge fan of anything cute and cuddly, especially rodents. (Ugh, I've dated enough human ones.) I ripped off the picture on the left from a personality test site. It said I was a Hamtaro hamster. It lied. Anyway, if you haven't noticed the theme with my animals, I always manage to name them after video game characters. |

In November of 2005, we welcomed a new addition into my guinea pig animal family. He's Spike the Yorkshire Terrier, and is a force to be reckoned with. My family had been talking about purchasing a puppy for years now, and last fall we finally got the balls to do it. The little puppy has been keeping me super occupied, as he loves to follow me virtually everywhere around the house. We've finally got him housebroken. The only time he poops or pisses in the house it's out of spite...and he usually does it in front of my bedroom door. Little bastard. Aside from the guinea pigs and dog, I've owned hamsters named Lulu and Yuna. Unfortunately, I had to return them because they smelled real bad. I named a stray cat Louie (after Ludwig von Koopa), which later got adopted by a family friend. Oh, I also had a fish named Rat-Bastard. He wasn't named after a game character in particular, but I just liked the name. It suited him well. |

Astrology is something else that interests me. I love asking people what sign they are, then pointing out all their bad traits. Hehe. I don't believe in the day-to-day horoscopes in the newspaper, because they're a load of shit for the most part, but personality traits for each individual sign do intrigue me. As you can see from my picture on the right, I'm a Capricorn, with a knack for attracting fellow earth signs and water signs. Anyone else reading this who's into astrology will know what I'm talking about. |
Even an emphasis on astrology is put in my fiction. I try to match each character up with the best sign that I think would suit him/her. Is there anyone else out there besides me who's sick enough to do this? |
If you can guess my birthday, you'll get a cookie! .....No you won't. I was fibbing. |

Of course, video games play a role in my life! It all started when I was eight and received the Nintendo Entertainment System for Christmas. Back then, that was the thing to have. Almost fourteen years later, I own many of the game consoles out there, except for XBox. Boo Microsoft! Some of my favorite game series' are: Super Mario Bros. 1 through Super Mario World. Other Mario games after that sorta fell flat for me. I honestly don't give a rat's ass about Mario Golf or Mario Party 23,985. Where the hell is a good 2D Mario adventure game?! I have heard about the Koopalings resurfacing in Mario & Luigi for the GBA, which set my panties afire with delight. Maybe Nintendo will redeem itself. Woah...tangent! Other games I adore are: Castlevania, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Parasite Eve, The Legend of Zelda (duh), Final Fantasy (ah-duh), and so many others I've lost track. For the most part, I'm an old school gamer, lamenting for the days of Super Mario Bros. 3 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. |

Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil |
Music is another huge part of my life. I find it very influential while writing, or even to chill out to. I enjoy a little bit of everything, but lately I've noticed that my tastes have been changing. Over the past year I've been getting into a lot of European goth metal bands, one of which is very close to dethroning Hole as my favorite band of all time. Some of my favorite bands/artists are: Hole, Nightwish, Garbage, Within Temptation, Rammstein, Lacuna Coil, Ludwig van Beethoven, and numerous Japanese composers who I can't remember the names of. I guess I'd fit into the alternative and metal genres, although it's hard to pick just one (like a potato chip). I put a picture of Cristina from Lacuna Coil up because they are frickin' awesome and I recommend you go out and buy one of their CDs right NOW. Yes, NOW! GO! LEAVE YOUR COMPUTER ON AND GO! They're just THAT good!!!!! Lunaretine says so, dammit! |

Wow, I just wrote a crapload, huh? Well, that's enough about me! Now you might either think of me as a cool chick who you wouldn't mind chillin' with, or a goddam psycho. :::purrs::: I hope it's the latter.... |
Then there's my rabid habit of collecting video game merchandise. I'm an overgrown kid. I'll buy anything from action figures to posters to t-shirts to something even crazy like Nintendo rub off tattoos (which I have, mind you). Below I posted a picture of my video game UFO plushie collection. I've hunted most of them down on eBay, except for the King Koopa, Mario, and Yoshi plushies. I found them in some ghetto toy store. I had the Ludwig von Koopa custom made by Lita Mitchell, whose web site is listed under my links section. Right now I'm trying to find more rare Super Mario Bros. plushies and Final Fantasy ones. I'd push my own grandmother down a flight of stairs for more Koopaling and FF plushies! ...You think I'm kidding?!!! I'm completely out of my gourd! |

Here are my plushies! I tried to cram them all into one picture. Don't even ask me how much money I spent collecting them all, because then you'd surely lock me up in the nearest asylum. But as long as you let me keep my Ludwig plushie, I'll be cool with it. |
Here is Skittles after jumping into our garbage. Now he's a lot bigger and is too fat to jump into it anymore. Isn't he a cutie? |
Here is a crazy pic of Link I snapped. His eyes looked so freaky in this image that I decided to keep them like that. Looks like he's going to shoot laser beams out of his eyes or something. He's such a fatty. |
The Dutch Within Temptation |
Within Temptation is one of my favorite metal bands next to Nightwish. Both have had a large influence on me, even inspiring me to begin classical voice lessons. Yes, that means opera. Don't laugh, imps. (I used to be a music major in college before I found out how much I hate music theory) Rinoafreak and I are trying to start our own band in a style similar to Nightwish. I love singing just as much as I love writing. |
The newest addition to my animal kingdom is Spike the Yorkshire Terrier. You can blame him for my story delays. |
